Let me explain:
Emerge's National Boot Camp is designed specifically for those who are planning to run for office this year or next. We developed this program to give candidates the skills they need to launch their campaigns and share expertise on critical elements of campaigning, including – developing a campaign plan and strategy, fundraising, messaging and public speaking, communication, and social media, and so much more! And the best part is that Emerge's community of women encourage and support each other, building relationships that last a lifetime.
Our candidates who sign up for the program range from caretakers to neighborhood association leaders to volunteers running issue campaigns. They reflect the values of their communities and are strong voices for the issues that matter most.
At the end of our National Boot Camp, we want our candidates to feel empowered to win and represent their communities in elected office. That is how we change the face of politics. But recruiting and training our new cohort of Democratic women takes significant resources, and we can't do this without your support.
