| Jason, Medicaid costs are shared between the federal government and the states to provide quality and affordable healthcare to low-income Americans across the country. Right now, the federal government covers 62% of Medicaid costs, while Florida covers 38%. But if we expanded Medicaid in Florida, the federal government would cover 90% of Medicaid costs, including the cost of expansion! So, why are we paying more for Medicaid? With Florida refusing to expand Medicaid, taxpayers are forced to pay more for Medicaid costs while our hard-earned tax dollars get sent to Washington and are used to fund projects in other states across the country. Expanding Medicaid in Florida would not only give access to 1.4 million Floridians, but it would bring our tax dollars back to Florida to invest in our communities here at home while saving taxpayers millions annually. That's why we're working to put Medicaid expansion on the ballot in 2026 and secure access to quality and affordable care as a right for ALL Floridians. If you're with us, Jason, can we count on you to chip in $10 today? |
| Thank you, Florida Decides Healthcare |
