Jason – I haven't felt this kind of political enthusiasm in… maybe ever?
Witnessing Vice President Kamala Harris accept the Democratic nomination for the presidency last week, I felt a renewed sense of hope and anticipation — and I know I'm not the only one.
I met people from every walk of life, from Democrat to (previously) lifelong Republicans, to folks who have long felt disengaged from the political process. It's enough to make you think something special is happening across the country.
But here's what I'm worried about: The weeks after a party's convention is typically the time that the momentum dies down, and the election starts to even up again. We cannot let this energy die down.
We are just weeks away from the first ballots being cast, and we have a whole lot of voters to reach in battleground states — the folks who will determine the outcome of this election.
