Solar Energy Manufacturing for America Act

GREAT news for clean energy in America, Jason: Jon just successfully negotiated the inclusion of his Solar Energy Manufacturing for America Act in President Biden's budget reconciliation measure. That means:   New Tax credits for manufacturers to produce solar panels Tens of thousands of new good-paying jobs in Georgia and across the  country Georgia could become a national leader in clean energy technology Supercharged domestic solar manufacturing (helping to meet President Biden's goal of having solar account for 40% of US energy by 2035!!) Jon's legislation works by providing tax credits for American manufacturers at every stage of the solar manufacturing supply chain, from production of small solar cells to the fully assembled solar modules. This is a MAJOR win for our planet and Georgians, Jason. Jon is working around the clock to protect this provision as negotiations around this bill continue. More updates soon!
