Jason, This week, the State Legislature passed a housing package that was a small step forward but doesn't do nearly enough to build housing and protect tenants. Half a loaf on housing isn't good enough. It's up to the next mayor to make sure we live up to our legacy and build the next generation of affordable housing for New York City. We don't have an affordable housing problem. We have an affordable housing crisis. Bandaid solutions just aren't going to cut it. When I'm mayor, I'll ensure that we build for the people who need it the most, starting with building the next generation of affordable housing on city-owned vacant lots. Together we can do big things on affordable housing. Will you join me right now by donating $10 to bring big ideas to the Mayor's office? Remember all donations from $10-$250 from NYC residents are matched 8 to 1 by the city. So your $10 donation becomes $90! |
