Here are some things MAGA leader Donald Trump has said about abortion: - Trump believes abortion laws should be left to the states.
- He also says that the states should "do the right thing"– aka restrict abortion access.
- He took the opportunity to claim he was "proudly the person responsible" for overturning Roe v. Wade.
- In the past, Trump has called for a national 16-week ban, and in his current race for president he has not backed down from that call.
But no matter what he claims on his campaign trail, one thing we can be sure about. Trump will enforce a national abortion ban if he becomes President.
