Recently, a new poll showed if Senator Menendez runs as an Independent in the November election, he could get 9 percent of the vote, making this a close race. I know I can be the strongest candidate and help keep this seat, and the Senate, in Democratic control. While it is not clear who the GOP nominee will be, it is clear that New Jersey cannot be the state that gives the Republican Party control of the Senate again. Donald Trump is the standard bearer for the Republican Party, and our working families can't afford to have someone representing us while pursuing a MAGA agenda of banning abortion nationwide, taking away healthcare from our families, and destroying our democracy. We need the strongest Democrat possible to help mobilize voters this November. I've proven I can beat Republicans in New Jersey, and I will help Democrats hold the Senate and win races down the ballot for the general election.
