They want to shut down ActBlue. (Gee, I wonder why)

Gee, I wonder why.  This is straight from the authoritarian playbook. Politically motivated investigations and crackdowns. Making it harder for people to organize. Deliberately weakening your political opposition in any and every way you can.  When your only guiding ethos is accumulating power, and when you know you can't win on the merit of your ideas (look at that brilliant tariff policy, for instance), what does a tyrant do? He cheats.  Trump's targeting his political rivals is an obvious abuse of power. It's patently un-American. And you know what, it shines a light on how damn fragile his authority is. The good news is, as of right now, ActBlue is vowing to fight back with everything they've got — because the only way to shut a bully down is to stand up to them.  The tool they built is powerful because it makes it easy for ordinary people like us to band together. You can see why that threatens Trump so deeply. Small-dollar donations can add up fast. It's the only way the people stand a chance in a system where billionaires can spend tens of millions of dollars in one election.  Earlier this month, Elon Musk tried to buy a Wisconsin Supreme Court race. But he failed, because we came together to stop him — that wouldn't happen without a tool like ActBlue.  Today's a great day to put it to use — will you chip in to fund our grassroots movement to fight back against these ugly, cynical, authoritarian attacks on our democracy?
