It's the last day of February, and I've been doing a lot of reflecting.
I've done a lot of things in my career. I've been a teacher. A small business owner. A school board chair. A state senator. I've taken on tough fights and worked through long days. But I can honestly say this: nothing has ever felt scarier or more exciting than this moment.
If you had asked me ten years ago what I thought I'd be doing right now, it definitely wasn't running for governor.
We've been called to action. Our state is threatened by Trump and MAGA Republicans who will stop at nothing to make life harder for everyday Georgians – their jobs, their safety, and their future is at stake.
I answered the call. Now, we're on this wild journey across Georgia building a multigenerational and multiracial coalition that is fed up with Republicans' politics as usual and an economy that doesn't work for everyone. And we have a real shot to make real change. That's because of you.
Tonight, we close out February with a $25,000 goal in front of us. We are so close.
