The FBI's raid on the Fulton County elections office shows a blatant disregard for democracy.
This is part of a pattern we've seen before: using fear, suspicion, and manufactured controversy to cast doubt on our elections and discourage people from showing up to vote. Donald Trump and his allies have made no secret of their goal to take over election offices and keep pushing false claims, even when there is no evidence to support them.
They are hoping Georgians will feel confused, discouraged, or afraid.
We won't give them that satisfaction.
This is not normal, and it should never be accepted as the cost of living in this country. Leadership matters in moments like this. Georgia needs leaders who will stand tall, protect democracy, and defend the rights and dignity of every person.
