| Jason, I have spent my life working with scientists, researchers, and healthcare advocates. I know what evidence-based policy looks like and what happens when leaders ignore it. That is why I am deeply worried about what has happened to public health over the past year. Before you read on, can you chip in $10 today to help me stand up for science, public health, and evidence-based leadership? As head of HHS, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. fired vaccine experts and replaced them with his ideological allies. He weakened long-standing childhood vaccine recommendations and helped dismantle the CDC by forcing out senior leadership who refused to rubber-stamp bad science. He cut billions in federal research funding, including hundreds of NIH-backed clinical trials, and halted major investments in lifesaving vaccine research. Instead of focusing on real threats, he pushed false theories, from blaming Tylenol for autism to promoting unproven treatments during measles outbreaks. And the consequences are alarming. Measles is back with a vengeance, and other preventable diseases are spreading. Families are confused and scared because misinformation is coming from the very agencies meant to protect them. Public health should never be driven by ideology. It should be guided by science, transparency, and care for human life. I know we can do better, but it takes leadership that listens to doctors, scientists, and communities. Leadership that protects children, respects verifiable evidence, and takes the responsibility for public health seriously. If you agree, I am asking you to donate to my campaign for Congress. |
