Jason, Last week, we rallied to call out the rot within ICE. Our message was simple and clear: We do not want ICE to terrorize Southfield, Oakland County, or the State of Michigan.
There have been many moments over the last year of cruelty and chaos that have demanded moral clarity — and this is one of them. Across the country, ICE has been deployed with expanded authority and weakened training standards, contributing to fatal encounters and fear in our neighborhoods. And all on the basis of unconstitutional racial profiling, stoking fear in minority communities. Federal agents have even shot and killed U.S. citizens. This administration's approach isn't making us safer. It's making our communities less secure and more afraid. That's why I introduced legislation in Michigan to unmask ICE, restore accountability, and protect due process. And it's why I stood up publicly to say that this is not an agency that can be repaired or reformed under Donald Trump and Kristi Noem. I'll always fight for your rights in this country. But to keep pushing for transparency, dignity, and safety, we have to power this campaign. Can you chip in $10 today to help us keep standing up for our communities?
Thank you for staying engaged and committed to this cause. We cannot let these violent, unchecked actions become normal. With gratitude, – Jeremy
