| Jason, I love my community. If you love our people and show up with respect, they will love you back. That is how I was raised. That is how I live. Philly has a huge Latino community with a rich history (and great food, shoutout Lightbox Cafe). It's why this city will always feel like home. You walk in as yourself, and you are welcomed. If you think representatives should actually represent the community, will you contribute to my campaign? For too long, Latino communities have been forgotten by Democrats and actively demonized by Republicans. Republicans target us with fear, lies, and cruelty. They blame immigrants for an economy they broke. They use us as political punching bags. They dehumanize our families to score cheap points. And Democrats? Too often, they disappear. They show up during election season. They talk about us instead of listening to us. They assume our support instead of earning it. That is not leadership. That is neglect. And that is why Democrats are losing the support of the Latino community nationwide. If elected, I would be the first Latino member of Congress from Pennsylvania. And honestly, that is not something I want to brag about. It is something that should make all of us uncomfortable. Our communities have been here for generations. Working. Building. Caring for families. Power should not still be this out of reach. My story is shaped by being marginalized. By living paycheck to paycheck. By watching my community be ignored until it was convenient and attacked when it was useful. I know what it feels like to be treated as an afterthought. And I refuse to accept that as normal. We deserve leaders who live alongside us. Who understand our struggles because they have lived them. Who do not disappear when things get hard or quiet down when Republicans start attacking. If you agree that enough is enough, Jason, will you stand with me and chip in any amount to the campaign? |
| I am running because our community deserves more than being forgotten or targeted. We deserve dignity. Representation. And leaders who fight for us even when it is not politically easy. I love this community. And I am in this fight because I believe we can do better. Together. In solidarity, Pablo McConnie-Saad |
