| Jason, I know what it's like to struggle. As the daughter of working-class Colombian immigrants, I've experienced firsthand how hard it can be to get ahead in this country. I worked my way through high school, graduating near the top of my class, and spent my career in the service of others. So many Americans today are struggling. From the price of housing to the cost of groceries, the American dream I've lived feels so out of reach for so many. We need to restore the American dream once again, and that starts with having Congresspeople who will fight to ensure that the people they are elected to represent can not just get by, but thrive. Chip in today to my campaign and help elect someone who will fight for us. |
| Political insiders like Congressman Ryan Mackenzie don't get us. When asked about the state of the economy, he responded that it was "mixed." I don't know about you, but this sure doesn't feel like a mixed economy to me. It feels increasingly difficult to get by in Trump's America. Grocery prices are through the roof. Energy costs keep going up. Childcare costs more than mortgages. People are skipping doctor's visits. And yet, Congressman Mackenzie does nothing to help the district he's supposed to represent. In fact, he continues to support Trump's policies that are driving up costs nationwide. I am no Ryan Mackenzie. I spent my career lifting up working-class families across Pennsylvania. As executive director of SkillsUSA Council, I helped thousands of students launch their careers. As an engineer at PPL Electric Utilities, I helped people and companies lower their utility bills. And in Congress, I will continue to do all I can to lower costs for families in PA-07. But I can't do it alone. This race is one of the most competitive in the country, and the Republican establishment is already pouring in money to support Congressman Mackenzie. We're running a grassroots campaign, which means we just have you, the people. That's why I'm asking for your help. Can you chip in whatever you can to help elect a fighter for working-class people across PA-07 to Congress? |
Thank you for your support, Carol Obando-Derstine |
