I spoke about what I hear every day from families here in Virginia – that costs are too high, that Washington too often feels disconnected from reality, and that people expect their leaders to focus on results instead of rhetoric. I made it clear that just like they have for 250 years, ordinary Americans are coming together to reject the unacceptable and demand more of their government. And I made it clear that we can lower costs, strengthen our economy, and protect our freedoms without chaos or division. But speeches alone don't change the future.
