Jason,
Women's History Month is a time to celebrate the generations of women who have fought tirelessly for all of the freedoms we enjoy today.
But right now, those freedoms are under threat. From attacks on reproductive health care to legislation like the SAVE Act that could make it harder for millions of women to vote, we're seeing coordinated efforts to roll back rights that women fought for decades to secure.
This Women's History Month, I'm asking you to join me in making a commitment: to protect women's rights not just in March, but every single month of the year.
Before I had the honor of serving in Congress, I spent years working to expand access to health care at Planned Parenthood Southeast, helping ensure women could make their own decisions about their bodies, their futures, and their families. That work shaped my ongoing commitment to protecting the fundamental freedoms that allow women to thrive.
In Congress, I'm continuing that fight — standing up for reproductive freedom, defending voting rights, and pushing back against policies that silence or sideline women to honor the legacy of the women who came before us.
Let's fight back together against attacks on women's rights and send a message that we won't ever stand down.
Thank you for being part of this fight,
Congresswoman Nikema Williams
