| When I launched this race, I knew it would not be easy. Georgia is a battleground. National Republicans see this state as critical to their path forward. They are already investing heavily here.
In the GOP primary alone, there are three self-funders, including a billionaire, prepared to pour unlimited money into this race. Outside groups are circling. Mega-donors are lining up.
They think they can buy this state, but here's what they did not expect:
Because of you, we are leading the Democratic field for Governor. We've built a diverse, multi-generational coalition that can flip Georgia blue. We've launched our first TV ad. We are organizing across the state. We're putting in the hard work it takes to win.
Georgia is a toss-up, and the national spotlight is on this race. And today, by filing, we are sending a clear message: we are in this to win it.
But officially qualifying for the ballot is just the beginning. The real work is what comes next.
