Happy International Women's Day!
Today, we mark the enormous contributions and achievements of women in our society. While we have come so far, there is still so much more work to be done.
If you can't tell from the picture below, I'm the only woman in this race. If elected, I'll be the first Latina elected to represent Pennsylvania in Congress, so I know a whole lot about breaking barriers. |
| I know what it's like to stand out. I know what it's like to be told to wait your turn – but I'm not listening.
I'm running for Congress to represent voices like mine that rarely have the representation they deserve.
A lack of representation is what got us into this mess. It's what stripped us of reproductive rights, and it's what has enabled ICE to terrorize our communities. We can't afford 2 more years of a GOP-controlled Congress that doesn't know our struggles.
