| Friends, This Women's History Month, we're taking a moment to reflect on the progress women have made in politics—and the role Emerge is playing in moving that progress forward. Today, 2,480 women serve in state legislatures nationwide—about 32% of all lawmakers. That's real progress, but we're still far from equal representation. And none of that progress happened by accident. It's the result of intentional work—recruiting women, training them, and supporting them every step of the way. You can see that impact most clearly in the states leading the country. In Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada—the three states with the highest levels of women's representation—women now hold 50% or more of legislative seats. And Emerge women are a big part of that story. Our alums aren't just showing up—they're leading, governing, and shaping what's possible. That's what Emerge is all about. We're not just training candidates—we're changing who holds power. And we're just getting started. Looking ahead to 2026, hundreds of Emerge women are already on the ballot in key races across the country—many of which will decide legislative majorities and shape policy for years to come. The progress we're celebrating this month is the result of long-term investment. And what happens next depends on what we do right now. If we want to see more women in power, we have to keep building—and keep winning. Will you invest in Emerge today to help recruit, train, and elect the next generation of women leaders? |
