Yesterday we received the results from this weekend's Democratic convention, and I'm incredibly grateful to the delegates who supported our campaign. |
| What that number shows is something bigger than a convention vote. It shows that our campaign is bringing new energy and new people into the Democratic Party, people who believe it's time for a new way of doing politics in New Mexico.
From day one, we knew the establishment had lined up behind my opponent. But we showed up anyway, made our case, and earned the support of nearly one-third of the delegates in the room.
That's momentum. And we're just getting started.
Because this race won't be decided inside a convention hall. It will be decided by voters across New Mexico in our communities, at our kitchen tables, and in conversations about the future of this state.
That's where our campaign is focused.
We're traveling across New Mexico, meeting people where they are, listening to their concerns, and bringing new voices into the process. Every day, we're seeing more energy and more people stepping forward who believe our state can do better.
