Jason,
Since Ron Johnson announced he was running for re-election, I'm sure he's enjoyed a windfall of special interest donations.
After all, he's the guy who pushed through the Trump tax cuts to help his donors (and himself) make bank. It's only fitting that those interest groups would return the favor now that he's broken his term-limit pledge and decided to run again.
Ron Johnson will stick around in Congress as long as people let him. We believe he deserves to lose, and we have a plan to help make that happen.
CNN calls him "the Senate's leading conspiracy theorist" for a very good reason.
Over the last few years, he's left common sense behind and has actively embraced the strangest, darkest corners of the internet. He's now famous for suggesting mouthwash as a cure for COVID. Next week, he's convening a public panel called "COVID 19: A Second Opinion" to give a platform to blatant bad information about a public health crisis.
This is a man who compared the insurrectionists on January 6th to a group of tourists. And his seat will likely determine who holds control of the Senate next year.
Our plan is to go all in on amplifying voices from real voters in Wisconsin about why Ron Johnson has left them behind and can't be trusted to serve another term.
Your donations will be put toward building this grassroots operation — and not wasted on a whole bunch of nasty TV ads. Let's defeat Ron Johnson and his Sedition Caucus friends — chip in today.
Thank you, Amy
