Friend, Thanks to folks like you, my good friend Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock beat the odds last year and prevailed in one of the most consequential runoff elections in U.S. history – ultimately helping Democrats take back the Senate. |
Ever since, Raphael has shown our nation just how much elections truly matter. Because of his leadership and our narrow majority, we've been able to provide crucial pandemic relief for struggling families, create millions of good-paying jobs, and turn the page on the cruelty of the most divisive president of our lifetime. |
But with so much left to do, experts at NPR recently ranked Raphael's seat as the most likely to flip red – and FiveThirtyEight confirms that his race in Georgia could determine Senate control. That's why the GOP is coming after him as its TOP target for defeat. There's no question that Raphael can beat the odds once again this November, but only with your grassroots support. |
That's why I'm personally asking, friend: Will you chip in $5 or more right now to help Raphael win in Georgia and keep the Senate blue? The future of our democracy is on the line. |
Just four short years ago, Raphael invited me to speak at Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he is the senior pastor and preaches from the former pulpit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was an outstanding public servant back then – and he still is today. Raphael is Georgia's first Black senator in history – the only other Black Democrat in the Senate besides myself – and he's exactly the kind of strong, moral leader that our country needs more of in Washington. |
With our entire Democratic agenda – from voting rights to reproductive freedoms – on the line, we need to keep Raphael in the Senate. But the GOP is flooding this race with millions to flip his seat, and polling shows him 1 point down. |
So please, friend, I'm counting on you to chip in now: Will you give $5 or more – every dollar you can spare – to help Raphael pull ahead, keep Georgia blue, and defend our Senate majority? |
Thank you so much for chipping in. With gratitude, – Cory |
