| Jason, Too many politicians — both Republican and Democrat — are silent about our taxpayer dollars being used to fund the genocide taking place in Gaza right now because they're bankrolled by AIPAC. That's why I've made a clear choice in this race. I will not take a single penny from AIPAC, because I refuse to be bought by the same powers funding genocide. Their influence in Washington is enormous, and it often comes at the expense of the voices of the communities I serve. I've spent my career defending human rights around the globe, standing alongside people whose voices were silenced and who faced persecution because of their gender, political opinion or religious beliefs. I've taken on powerful interests in courtrooms, fought for due process, and defended families when no one else would. That work taught me something simple but important: power that goes unchecked is a threat to everyday people. This campaign is about charting a different path forward. One where working families, immigrants, seniors, and young people are heard loud and clear. One where seats in Congress aren't for sale to the highest bidder or controlled by the rich and powerful. But here's the reality: 2026 is here, and that means that we need to build the resources to take on AIPAC and other special interests rallying against leaders fighting for working class families. If we fall short, it sends a message to Washington insiders and special interests that this seat can be bought. I refuse to accept that future for CA-40. This campaign is powered by people, not PACs. And we need supporters like you stepping up right now to protect and defend our democracy. If you're able, will you pitch in today and help us show that this district belongs to the people, not special interests? |
| With gratitude, Lisa Ramirez |
