| Jason, For months, Speaker Johnson refused to convene Congress and then wasted the little time left refusing to make health care more affordable for families already strapped by rising costs. While they sat on their hands, 22 million Americans have already seen their premiums double. Too many families are now priced out of health care entirely. Think about what that means when someone gets sick. No visit to the doctor. Instead, when things get worse, it's a trip to the emergency room. This is unacceptable. Republicans failed to act and kept kicking the can down the road while families are forced to choose between healthcare and keeping the heat on this winter. Americans deserve more than temporary solutions; they deserve access to affordable healthcare that they can depend on. That's why I'm running. As a starting point, here's what I propose: - Break up Wall Street's takeover of healthcare. When investors buy hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, they skim profits at every step and drive costs up for everyone.
- Stop Big Pharma price gouging. Granite Staters should not pay 2-4x more for the same drugs than our neighbors across the border in Canada.
- Keep AI from coming between people and their doctors. The Trump administration is launching a program where AI would decide on coverage and care for Medicare patients. Doctors and nurses should be making decisions about healthcare, not computer algorithms.
Healthcare is the cause of my life, and I will work relentlessly to ensure that Americans have access to dependable care. Will you stand with me as I fight to fix our broken system by contributing to my campaign today? |
| Glad to have you with me, Stefany |
