 | | | | | | Friend, I know a thing or two about preaching – and that's exactly what my friend Cory Booker just did in the Senate.
If you haven't heard, Cory just held the Senate floor for 25 straight hours – the longest Senate floor speech in history, breaking the record previously held by segregationist Strom Thurmond, who held the floor to protest the advancement of civil rights legislation.
In contrast, Cory held the floor to lift up the voices of the Americans being harmed by Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and this administration's dangerous actions. I was proud to join Cory on the floor to show my support for his effort.
I want to assure you, friend: Our fight doesn't end with this speech. In fact, it's just beginning.
Today, tomorrow, and always, I'm going to keep doing everything I possibly can to make life better for you and your family. And right now, that means holding the line against this administration.
