We passed it.  Last night, Wisconsin voters decisively elected a fair-minded judge instead of a MAGA acolyte who would have flipped the court's majority and put fundamental rights in jeopardy.  More importantly, the people of Wisconsin saw right through Elon Musk's cynical ploy to buy their votes. He spent at least $20 million on the race, which shattered records to become the most expensive state judicial election in U.S. history. Musk even bribed individual voters with $1 million checks — something that should be illegal (and probably already is).  Musk did everything he could to make this race a referendum on what he and Donald Trump have done in the last 71 days. And the voters responded accordingly — a state that narrowly elected Donald Trump just five months ago thoroughly rejected his agenda last night.  Do you hear that sound? That's the sound of the dam breaking. Musk and Trump want you to believe they're all powerful, that MAGA victories are inevitable. Well, Wisconsin just proved that's B.S.  The momentum is shifting. Two special elections in Florida last night also saw nearly 20% swings away from Trump. And earlier in the evening, Sen. Cory Booker threw a wrench in the gears with a record-setting, 25-hour speech that didn't just bring the Senate to a standstill but showed that Democrats have a lot of fight left in them after all.  I say this because wannabe authoritarians rely on people cowering in the face of their authority. Last night was a signal that we're not going to take it. We're building a grassroots organization that's ready to fight back wherever and whenever needed — chip in if you can and let's ensure that not even the world's richest man can buy our democracy.  Today's a good day — let's go make more of them.
