State of the CO-08 Race: Shannon Bird is Poised to Flip Seat
Shannon Bird is Building the Resources to Compete and Win While Being Powered by Coloradans Shannon Bird is the only candidate funded by Coloradans. To date, Shannon has raised over $1.2 million, with 87% of her dollars raised within Colorado. She doesn't take corporate PAC money, and her contributors span the entire district.
Shannon Bird has Grassroots Momentum Last week, Shannon submitted 2,464 petition signatures from CO-08 voters to qualify for the ballot. Team Bird knocked over 10,000 doors in January in every county of the district. While Gabe Evans doesn't show up, Shannon Bird has made over 100 stops across the district since launching her campaign.
Shannon's List of Endorsers Grows Every Day Shannon Bird is one of the most labor-endorsed congressional candidates in the country and the only labor-endorsed candidate in this race. Shannon has secured over 195 endorsements, including national support from EMILYs List and Elect Democratic Women.
Republicans Are Terrified of Running Against Shannon Shannon is the only candidate who has won a contested election in this district and has done so five times. Her impressive track record of standing up to the big insurance companies, cracking down on auto theft, and lowering costs makes her a formidable candidate in this toss-up seat.
