| Donald Trump's Department of Justice just tried — and failed — to indict me in front of a grand jury.
This is all retribution, FirstName. This abuse of power is chilling and wrong. Trump is weaponizing the justice system and going after his political opponents, or any American who dares speak out against him.
None of us want to live in a country where the President can abuse his powers to attack free speech rights and go after their perceived enemies.
I took an oath to defend the Constitution as a paratrooper, Army Ranger, and now Member of Congress. I've dedicated my life to defending our democracy and the nation I love, and nothing Trump does will stop that.
