| I was just out Naknek hunting for caribou, and I wanted to share a quick thought with you. Alaskans are some of the hardest-working people I know. We take care of each other, and we do what needs to be done. But more and more, putting in long days is not enough to make ends meet or cover a medical emergency when one hits. That is why I am running for Congress. Alaska has one vote in the U.S. House, and that vote belongs to Nick Begich — an out-of-touch millionaire who doesn't understand the Alaskan way of life. His priorities are not the same as the people I meet here or the people I grew up with. He's had many opportunities to lower our daily costs, but he's passed those chances up every time. Just last month, he voted to raise healthcare premiums that will raise costs as much as $900/month for many Alaskans. It makes no sense. I'm in this race because Alaska deserves a representative who understands what it means to make an honest living and who will fight for people who live and work here. But I cannot do this alone. Will you join me and help send this hard-working Alaskan to Congress to fight for you? Here's your personal link to give: https://bill4ak.com/personal Thank you for taking a moment to read this and for being part of this campaign. – Bill |
