Protect the First Amendment

Folks, Trump’s FCC is on a quest to destroy freedom of the press and the First Amendment.

FIRST: They tried to SILENCE Jimmy Kimmel for speaking out by having ABC pull his show off the air.

THEN: They forced CBS into CENSORING Stephen Colbert’s interview with James Talarico, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Texas.

AND NOW: FCC chair Brendan Carr just personally threatened to revoke licenses to broadcast networks because they don’t like hearing the truth about Trump’s war in Iran.

Don’t be mistaken: these are direct attacks on the freedom of broadcasters to cover Trump’s unauthorized war accurately. It’s all straight out of the authoritarian playbook this administration has become famous for.

Folks, we deserve an FCC chair that won’t do the president’s bidding whenever he sees a truth he doesn’t want to hear. That’s why we’re demanding Brendan Carr resign– will you add your name and stand with us against Trump’s war on free speech?
