Washington, DC is one of the most corrosive environments on Earth.
Nick Begich is proof. He went to Washington answering to the people who funded his campaign — billionaires, corporate PACs, and Mike Johnson's machine — and that's exactly who he's been voting for ever since.
But I think there are some things you can't corrode. The things that made me who I am — my family, the people I grew up with, the places I've lived, the culture I was raised in — Washington can't take those away.
Whether it’s on a fishing boat, in a classroom, or in my community, I'm someone who works hard, tells the truth, and looks out for the people around me. That's who I'll be in Congress too. I'll maintain who I am through thick and thin.
That's the kind of representative Alaska deserves. Will you chip in today so Alaska can have a representative who walks into Congress the same person who walked out of Bristol Bay? |
