Believe it or not, there's still one major holdover from the Donald Trump administration sabotaging our government from within.
Nearly 18 months into President Biden's administration, Trump's handpicked Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, is still running the USPS.
I don't need to remind you that DeJoy left his job as a deputy finance chair of the Republican National Committee to take the job.
Or that he decommissioned mail ballot sorting machines and slowed the mail at the height of the pandemic and 2020 election.
Or that he's been the subject of an FBI investigation into an alleged campaign finance scheme where he reimbursed employees for donations to Republican candidates.

DeJoy has begun a 10-year plan representing the largest rollback of consumer mail services in the Post Office's history.
He's vowed that prices for consumers will continue to go up at an "uncomfortable rate."
He's inexplicably refused to green the USPS truck fleet with electric vehicles — instead, he's insisting that the new fleet of 160,000 mail trucks be 90% gas-powered.
Suffice to say, DeJoy is undermining the Postal Service from within. It's time for this Trump crony to go.
Fortunately, we can finally make that happen. The Senate just confirmed President Biden's nominees to the USPS Board of Governors, the only body with the authority to fire DeJoy and replace him with a Postmaster General that will work with the Biden administration and our Democratic majorities in Congress to strengthen the Postal Service for years to come.
