What we raise before midnight will determine a lot about our plans for next year. Operation Saving Democracy has designs on getting involved in several battlegrounds, all with eyes on reaching and persuading voters we believe are key to the 2024 election.
In large part, these are people who've voted Republican their entire lives, based primarily on issues of national security. These are the voters the GOP is turning off when its leaders get buddy-buddy with murderous autocrats, turn their backs on our allies, or talk like a wannabe dictator — and especially when they attempt to overthrow a free and fair American election. Donald Trump is disqualifying himself with these "pro-democracy voters" every single day.
It's our job to reach them with a powerful message delivered by a powerful messenger. Operation Saving Democracy's leadership is made up of retired generals, former ambassadors, and patriots who have spent their whole lives sacrificing for our country and not speaking out on partisan politics. The fact that they're all in for this election tells you everything you need to know about the stakes.
We believe winning pro-democracy voters is a vital part of the strategy to stop Trump from winning a second term in the White House. But we need to make sure it gets funded first. That's what this budget goal is about — and that's why I'm counting on you to chip in before our midnight deadline.
