Kristi Noem's Department of Homeland Security and its brutal, untrained ICE agents are waging a horrific campaign of violence in communities across our country.
Innocent people across our country – some as young as 5 years old – are being wrongfully and brutally apprehended and threatened with deportation.
And on the streets of Minneapolis, where the community is uniting to condemn this wicked movement, protesters like Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti were murdered by ICE.
Enough is enough. This violence and blatant misuse of federal power must stop. This is what happens when power goes unchecked. This is a result of not having enough leaders in Congress who will keep this administration in check and raise accountability. We must push for Kristi Noem's resignation and impeachment as Secretary of Homeland Security.
As an immigration attorney, I fight every day to protect our community's most vulnerable. I represented Narciso Barranco, a father of three U.S. Marines who was unlawfully and brutally apprehended by ICE. I fought with everything I had for Barranco and his family, and was able to return him home safely.
In Congress, I will fight for CA-40 with the same strength and heart I brought for Narciso. I will hold our federal government accountable for its unspeakable actions. These unprecedented times call for leaders who are ready to protect their communities with everything they've got.
