School districts from across the state have been pleading for more funding for schools, teachers, and students, but Dunleavy went against the legislature and decided to take it all away – again. Here is a quick rundown of what Dunleavy took away from our schools: $50.6 in basic allotment funding ($200 per student) $5.7 million for early childhood education programs $25.1 million for school maintenance and repairs We need a Governor who will work with the legislature to deliver for our students and teachers, not trash the progress being made.
