I've always believed that public service means standing up for the people — not special interests, and certainly not the chaos and cruelty we're seeing from Republicans in Congress.

Two more years of an unchecked Republican majority does not bode well for the American people. This year alone we've already seen constant attacks:

Brutal budget cuts that gutted funding for vital programs that millions of Americans rely on
Blocking the release of the Epstein files and undermining public trust in our justice system
Defunding essential public broadcasts like NPR and PBS — silencing trusted public voices and stoking division
