I'm running for Congress because I'm pissed.
I'm pissed that Republicans are trying to take away Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid — the safety nets that millions of Americans rely on. I'm also pissed that many of our Democratic leaders are letting it happen without a fight.

I spent 30 years in uniform serving this country, and now I feel called to serve again because I can't just sit back and watch as our values get pushed aside in Washington.
But here's the thing: I'm not a politician.
I don't care about playing the same old political games that got us in this mess in the first place.
We need leaders who know how to bring people together and actually get sh*t done. Frankly, we also need leaders who know when to shut up and listen.
When you listen, you learn, you build trust, and you make real progress. That's the kind of leader I'm going to be in Congress – someone who gets things done by working with people, not against them.
