Jason, Every weekend, I lace up my boots, strap on my ruck (military for heavy backpack), and hit the road with an American flag in my hand. It's something I've done for years. It keeps me grounded in the values I swore to protect while serving in the Navy, Michigan National Guard, and Army Reserve. Service isn't something I've ever thought of as a job – it's a way of life. That's why I ruck. Not for attention or for show. But to stay connected to the mission, and to honor the flag I carried into deployments and the brothers and sisters I served beside.
Now that I'm running for Congress, some people might say it's time to trade the ruck for a suit and tie. But I'm not going to stop, because Michigan deserves leaders who remember what it means to serve – not just to climb a political ladder, but to carry the load alongside the people you represent. That's the kind of Congressman I'll be. If that's the kind of leadership you believe in, I hope you'll chip in today to help me carry this campaign forward.
We've got a long road ahead, and I'm ready to walk every mile of it with the same grit and determination as my weekly ruck march. Not for self, for country, Tripp Adams
