Jason, Republicans knew exactly what they were doing when they voted for their Big Ugly Bill and they did it anyway. They knew it would kick millions off their health insurance. They knew it would slash food assistance. And, they knew it would reward billionaires and corporations with tax breaks they don't need. But they voted for it anyway. Because this bill wasn't about policy. It was about pleasing Trump and protecting their donors.
