| Jason, Over the past few weeks, I've been talking directly with residents like you across our district and this is what I'm hearing: π People want action on lowering everyday costs and increasing access to affordable healthcare. π Parents and educators are calling on lawmakers to prioritize school funding. π Seniors are worried about threats to Social Security and Medicare. π And many of you have told me you're deeply concerned about protecting the core functions of our democracy. These aren't just political talking points — they're real concerns from real people. And they're exactly why I'm running for Congress. In the State Legislature, I have a record: ➡️ We increased a critical tax credit for working families and repealed the tax on retiree income. ➡️ We closed the school funding gap to ensure each student in every public school district has an equal opportunity to succeed. ➡️ As Chairman of the Senate Elections, I reduced barriers to voting and increased access to the ballot box. ➡️ I'm working with my Senate colleagues to create a Prescription Drug Affordability Board to bring down healthcare costs. I know there's more work to do and with your help, we can bring this fight to Washington. Can you chip in today to help us continue building on our grassroots momentum? |
