They want to erase us

This is absolutely outrageous.

Trump’s administration ripped down the Pride flags at the Stonewall National Monument, the literal birthplace of the LGBTQ+ rights movement.

They’re trying to erase queer people from public life — our history, our symbols, our visibility — one attack at a time.

But now New York City officials are standing up to Trump and rushing to put the flag back up, because they know exactly what this is: an attempt to intimidate, silence, and rewrite history.

We have to stand together if we want to stop Trump’s attacks on the LGBTQ+ community. Will you add your name now to stand in solidarity with New York Democrats who are fighting back against Trump and defending queer history?
