| Jason, After hundreds of NWS employees were laid off due to DOGE cuts, forecasting has become unreliable. |
| Alaska experienced it firsthand with Typhoon Halong. Gaps in weather balloon coverage meant predictions suffered, models failed, communities got warnings late, or not at all. Towns lost power. People were unprepared. And the gap between data and reality just keeps growing. Alaska deserves a representative who will fight for science, safety, and our Bush communities. I'm running for Congress to make sure Alaska's vote works to protect Alaskans, not cut them off from crucial forecasts. If you want better for Alaska, will you add your name below to tell Congress to stop the cuts and protect our communities? |
