When one person is harmed, our shared sense of safety suffers too. This week in Minneapolis, an American woman lost her life following an encounter with ICE. She had just dropped her child off at school. And she never made it home. This tragedy happened because this administration has weaponized a federal agency. For years, we have been told that aggressive enforcement keeps us safe. The truth is: it has fueled fear, fractured communities, and put ALL of us in more danger. We believe there is a better way.
