Last night's forum was a big moment for this campaign, and Jason felt your support every step of the way. Whether you watched live, sent a note, chipped in, or just cheered us on from afar, you helped us make it a powerful night. One moment in particular mattered a lot. Jason called out the elephant in the room: Georgia is in a healthcare crisis because of years of Republican leadership and the actions of Geoff Duncan. When Duncan was in office, Republicans refused to expand Medicaid and passed a dangerous abortion ban. Those decisions have had real consequences, including preventable deaths of Black women here in Georgia.
At the forum, Jason made it clear what the difference is.
Jason expanded access to healthcare for teachers and state employees. He co-sponsored the Reproductive Freedom Act to overturn Georgia's abortion ban. And as governor, he will expand Medicaid, lower insurance costs, strengthen mental health services, and stand up for Georgia seniors and families.
Last night was a chance to show voters not just what Jason believes, but what he has actually done and what he will do next. We're proud of the contrast he drew and even prouder of the movement we are building together.
