Folks, Donald Trump once again threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act, a move that would allow him to deploy the U.S. military into American cities and use troops for domestic law enforcement.
And he’s not even trying to hide why he wants it:
Read that again.
He wants no oversight and no checks on his power.
This is the same man who incited an insurrection, now telling us in his own words, that he wants to bypass the legal system and send the military into our streets.
Experts warn the Insurrection Act is being dangled as a threat, a way to intimidate cities, governors, judges, and protesters into submission. Even if courts should stop him, Trump is signaling he’s willing to test the limits anyway.
This is how democracies collapse: not all at once, but when leaders push the system to its limits.
Every signature sends a clear message: we see right through this power grab, and we will not accept it.
If we don’t draw the line now, he’ll keep pushing it.
