Political retaliation plain and simple

Folks, Donald Trump’s Department of Justice just subpoenaed Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.

This is political retaliation plain and simple.

This DOJ is going after elected officials who refuse to bow to Trump. These are just the latest targets in a widening campaign against anyone who challenges his power. Governors. Mayors. Members of Congress. Independent officials. No one is off-limits.

That’s not justice. That’s authoritarianism.

Congress cannot sit on its hands while the DOJ is weaponized to intimidate political opponents. The House and Senate Judiciary Committees must step in immediately — with hearings, document demands, and a full investigation into who ordered these subpoenas and why. Add your name right now to demand Congress stop Trump’s DOJ from abusing its power.

Governor Walz called it what it is: “Weaponizing the justice system is a dangerous, authoritarian tactic.”

Mayor Frey was just as blunt: “I will not be intimidated.”

If Congress fails to act, this won’t stop with Minnesota. It will only escalate.

Tell the House and Senate Judiciary Committees to intervene now — before this abuse becomes the norm.
