THEN: Days before the end of the year, the House GOP voted to authorize an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden, in hopes of digging up nonexistent evidence of misconduct. Joe Biden himself responded: "Instead of doing anything to help make Americans' lives better, they are focused on attacking me with lies. Instead of doing their job on the urgent work that needs to be done, they are choosing to waste time on this baseless political stunt that even Republicans in Congress admit is not supported by facts." NOW: The Biden investigations are wrapping up, but the House GOP isn't satisfied. They're starting off the year with ANOTHER baseless impeachment probe into Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas. This time — they didn't even launch an investigation, they moved straight into holding hearings, with no facts or evidence to back them up. Republicans continue to waste time and taxpayer money with their disgusting attempt to distract voters during a vital election year with these bogus impeachment proceedings.
