Jason, Last week, Republicans in the state legislature voted against overriding Gov. Mike Dunleavy's veto, which slashed $87 million dollars from the $175 million dollar education funding package. We have a constitutional obligation to fund education here in Alaska, and that means building an education system that supports ALL of Alaska's children. Every child deserves access to high-quality education, no matter where you live or how much money you make. Investing in education is the best way to give every child in Alaska the support they need and deserve so that they can be successful. But right now, our students are struggling with large class sizes and a lack of critical resources. Will you help us elect Democrats across Alaska who will fight to fully fund our public schools and support our students by chipping in anything you can today? |
