Jason, last Friday, three migrants — a woman and two children — drowned while trying to cross the Rio Grande.
It is reported that the Texas National Guard denied access to federal border patrol agents after they received a notice that five migrants were in distress and were on their way to assist them.
This was a senseless and preventable tragedy.
Extremists and Trump cronies like Greg Abbott are just as dangerous as Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, or Mike Johnson. This is a reminder why we must also focus on state and local races, not just federal ones.
In order to pass comprehensive and human border and immigration policies, we need to make sure we’re informed of who is on the ballot in 2024, from the bottom to the top!
