FIRST: Republican Gabe Evans won this seat by fewer than 2,500 votes last year, making him one of the most vulnerable incumbents in Congress.
THEN: Since then, Evans has marched in lockstep with Trump — even voting to gut Medicaid, which 1 in 3 residents in our district rely on.
NOW: Gabe Evans is already going on conservative talk radio to attack me — because he knows this is one of the most competitive seats in the country and one of our best chances to flip a red seat blue and reclaim the House majority.
I know what it's like to struggle. I grew up watching my family work hard just to make ends meet. Today, I see Evans' and Trump's reckless policies making life even harder, raising prices for middle-class families across Colorado.
I'm running for Congress to stand up to Trump's attacks, protect our democracy, and fight for a better future for Colorado's families, seniors, and kids.
